民主行動黨美里支部一行人在上10月19日星期日到峇功鎮，拉博鎮和拉博地區的長屋訪問，發現有很多民生問題幾十年來國陣政府都沒有辦法解決。

峇功鎮居民表示他們那時常停電停水，而且自來水很混濁，當地居民希望有關當局可以改善。

拉博鎮居民最不滿的是已經通車40年的路還是一樣的爛，到處是坑坑洞洞，到處是窟窿。行動黨要問國陣政府，這條拉博路從通車到現在，政府已經花了多少錢了，撥款總數有多少？

拉博另外還有很多的民生問題，自從馬來西亞成立到現在還沒電流和自來水供應，當地居民的飲用水要靠雨天來收集雨水，洗澡洗衣要到河邊。拉博鎮也沒有警察局，所以當地的治安怎麼樣就有想可知了。

行動黨美里支部這次下鄉訪問面對當地居民和土著，第一是要了解當地人民的困難，第二是進行該黨的宣傳工作。

“我們都跟當地居民說，既然國陣政府自從馬來西亞成立45年來都做不到，就由我們民聯政府來做，我們直接了當地跟當地土著訴求換政府，我們告訴他們說在西馬五州已經換政府了，而且做得都比國陣政府好。”

“如果民聯執政州政府的話，我們保証拉博 ‘柏油’ 路在最短時時內做好，而且要 ‘柏油路’通到所有的長屋，所有拉博和內陸居民在最短時間內得到電流和自來水的供應。”

是否真的還要感謝國陣？國陣的堡壘區，每次大選國陣必贏的地區，居民連自來水也沒有！
馬來西亞成立45年，拉博居民到現也在還沒電力供應！家家戶戶都要自備發電機，我們身後的是發電機房，但常常招到小偷的光顧，當地居民常常受到財務上的損失。當然... 當地也沒有警察局，大家可以想像當地的治安有多麼的 “好” 了...
來看看國陣強區的垃圾山，美里市區拉圾一星期倒兩三次，國陣保疊區拉博一個月倒垃圾兩三次！

原棕油價暴跌 政府束手無策 Government at wit’s end on palm oil price slump

When the palm oil price has risen up high, our cooking oil price was also on the rise, and the government also drawn the palm oil industry into windfall tax.

Now the crude palm oil price has slumped, since the government took windfall tax, it is now should have to subsidize them? It seems our government at wit's end.

Now the crude palm oil price slumped, the Government should take this opportunity to acquire a large number of crude palm oil to make into the edible oil to reserve to be the time on re-high oil price.

The government's oil reserves can be sold to people with low price in order to avoid people pay more for the edible oil when the time of high price of cooking oil.

Currently, the price of palm oil has reached the edge of a loss, the Government do not care about the farmer, basically regardless of the owners live or die, and yet still do not know how to do.

The price of fertilizer and pesticide price has been shooting up like rocket, the Government did not even have long-term planning at all. The government has not plan to produce fertilizers and pesticides domestically in order to lower the costs of fertilizers and pesticides to lower the cost of farming palm.

在原棕油價格高漲時，我們的這位部長說那是他的功勞。現在價格暴挫了，這是不是也是他的"功勞"呢？

在原棕油價高居不下時，我們的食用油的價格也節節升高。政府也在向棕油業者抽暴利稅。
那現在好了，原棕油價格暴跌了，政府既然抽了暴利稅，那現在是不是應該要補貼他們呢？
很顯然的我們的政府束手無策，也跟本不懂自己應該幹什麼。

原棕油價格暴跌，政府應該趁機大量收購原棕油或原棕油制成的食用油儲備起來，待改次食用油價再高漲時，政府儲備的食用油就可以用低價賣給民眾，以免人民在棕油價高漲時吃貴食用油。

目前原棕油的價格已經到虧損的邊緣，政府基本上不管業主的死活，坦白說也不知如何管。
肥料價格和農藥的價格不斷的高漲，政府也沒有長遠的規劃，在國內研究如何生產肥料和農藥來以降低肥料和農藥成本來協助原棕油農。
