3rd floor is right. i lived in miri for 4 years and political awareness remains a taboo for most of them, if not all. i attended dap talks during the past election and most people were even afraid to stand close to the presenters. i pray that they will gain strength and courage by day.
by the way, pau teck was seen as an odd but brave and outspoken candidate, i hope he gets ready for the next election and bury the suppand white hair's legend.
pau teck, your profile has an error, there is only soochow university in taiwan. do you mean soochew uni in china? pls change b4 it is used against u in the next election.
There are two Soochow Universities in the world now. One is in China and the other one is in Taiwan. Actually, the one in Taiwan was the original Soochow uni from China, 東吳大學is the original name in Chinese. Soochow uni followed the KMT 國民黨 government moving to Taiwan. After that, there are several collages in the local Soochow China set up a new uni using the old place and building of the old Soochow University in China and rename it 蘇州大學 in Chinese but still use the name Soochow Uni in English. So that now the Soochow uni in Taiwan call 東吳大學,the one in China is 蘇州大學,東吳 and 蘇州 is mean the same place in China. However, both names are the same in English -- Soochow. TQ.
